Maintenance Plan FAQs

Are there any contracts or lock-ins?

No. You can cancel any time by calling or texting Charlie at (405) 413-0583. We charge annually but if you cancel mid-year we prorate any unused months. We don't lock anyone into a contract because we don't need to โ€” most members renew because the math just works.

What if I already had my tune-up this year?

No problem โ€” your plan starts now and your two tune-ups roll into the next 12 months. We'll schedule the first one at whichever seasonal window makes sense (spring for AC, fall for furnace).

Is the maintenance plan worth it if my system is brand new?

Yes โ€” for two reasons. First, most manufacturer warranties (Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman) require annual professional maintenance to stay valid. Our tune-up documentation satisfies that requirement. Second, even on new systems, capacitors fail in years 3-5 and detection at tune-up time prevents a midsummer breakdown.

Does the plan cover refrigerant if I have a leak?

The diagnostic and inspection labor is covered. Refrigerant itself and leak repair are billed separately at the 15-25% member discount. We never charge for "topping off" โ€” if you need refrigerant, you have a leak, and we find and fix the leak.

How does priority dispatch work in summer when everyone's calling?

Members go to the front of the same-day list. In peak summer, that typically means a 2-4 hour response window vs. next-day or 2-day wait for non-members. We hold scheduling slots specifically for member emergencies.

Can I add my rental property to a plan?

Yes โ€” rental properties qualify. We recommend Comfort Club Plus for rentals because the priority dispatch protects you against tenant complaints. We can coordinate access with tenants on your behalf.

What if I sell my house?

Two options: (1) transfer the plan to the new owner (we'll mail them the welcome packet), or (2) cancel and we prorate the unused months. Many homeowners use the plan as a selling point โ€” a documented maintenance history with a real local company adds value at closing.
