What Counts as an HVAC Emergency
Not every HVAC problem needs emergency response. Understanding what's urgent vs what can wait until morning helps you make the right call — and saves you the premium charges some companies add to emergency visits.
True emergencies (call us immediately, any hour):
Gas smell near the furnace. Shut off gas at the meter if safe, open windows, leave the house, and call from outside. Gas leaks don't wait until morning.
Carbon monoxide alarm. Get everyone outside. Call us from outside. Do not re-enter until we've verified the system is safe.
No heat in freezing weather with pipes at risk. Frozen pipes burst. Water damage from a burst pipe costs $5,000-$50,000. A 2 AM service call is cheaper.
